Azay le Ferron : Built in the 15th to 18th centuries this is the nearest chateau to La Maloterie  and has beautiful park and gardens which can be enjoyed from April to November.

 

Chateau Naillac : Located in Le Blanc this 12th century Chateau has some remarkable features including a Roman fireplace, it now houses the Eco Museum of the Brenne.

 

Chateau Guillaume : Dating back to the 11th century Chateau Guillaume boasts Roman dungeon, and was home to the family of Alienor of Aquitane, Queen of England.

 

A short drive away you can also find the Chateaux of the Loire Valley.
